A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I was quite satisfy witg this cafe bacause I wanted to eat kueh tiaw and porridge but it finish already at 7++pm, kinda sad but the fried mee really impressed me!!! Also, i like siewmai so much and this siewmai really taste like my dad's homemade siewmai! Love it very much. Will come again next time!"
"Must try local food. Strongly recommend Jawa Mee at morning."
"The handmade Siew Mai definitely was the main reason why many people come to the kopitiam, they also got fried siew mai and others mee. We can also order the Siew Mai by calling the aunty ahead of time."
"Definitely a must try shop at Georgetown. You can always see people queuing up to get a seat in that restaurant. I loved the toast with half-time boiled egg on top. A very fulfilling breakfast which gives you so much of energy. Their way of preparing the toast is in a very traditional way where they use charcoal .would love to pay another visit"
"The kopitiam opens early morning until about 2100 hours. There are 3 shifts selling food. We came around 1530 hrs and was given the last bowl of curry Mee (4.5/5). Must try the lemon+asam boi drink. Lots of lemon and no sugar added."
"Even though we can’t get the old establishment’s yee mee (Robert) anymore, this successor’s is quite delicious too! Big portion, with big prawns that tasted so fresh. The lady said they only open if they can get supply of big prawns. So do call before coming to check if they’re open. We had Yee mee, Ying Yong, and salted egg+century egg porridge. All good. Price is reasonable."
"The food here is fantastic. Delicious seafood. I took Saufu Yee Mee, and it was really great. The cafe has a very limited space and has to park a bit far. So, it is recommended to come earlier"
"You gotta try the seafood fried noodles operated by a guy named Robert. It's the stall in front of the shop. Taste very good and very reasonably priced."
